Where Does Your Chariot Lead You?

Many of the stories and accounts from the Hebrew Scriptures appear bizarre, unusual, incomprehensible, or violent. Yet, many of these very same stories contain deeper wisdom and gentle direction toward loving one another and loving our lives. Jesus was a practicing Jew, and his teachings focused on the messages of love, appreciation, honor, and respect. These principles were lived and learned by him with a deeper understanding of events from the Hebrew Scriptures. Join us this Sunday to examine some of the wisdom of Elijah, and Elisha. We’ll see that their experiences offer us wisdom for today.
