Meditation for Monday will be facilitated by Ashin Vimala, who is the grateful beneficiary of generous teachers from a variety of traditions, cultures, races, religions, and walks of life. Ashin was ordained as a Burmese Forest Monk in 2013. Interests include: right view, knowing what’s happening in the present moment, continuity of awareness, and friendly sharing of experience with others.

Is meditation a mysterious practice for you? Is meditation a precious practice which you consider priceless? Someone once said that there may be as many types and forms of meditation as there are people. “Maybe there are as many definitions of spiritual awakening as there are people who have had them.” On Mondays, we’ll begin a series of meditation practices introduced, led, or facilitated by a variety of people from many fields. Come to consider a type, or form, or method of meditation which best suits you. 

 

Join us at Unity Windward on Monday evenings at 6:00 in the Sanctuary, where we’ll gather to consider practices to benefit your life through the practice of meditation.
