Gloria Hunter discovered Unity in the late 1970's when she visited Unity of Houston to hear a guest speaker. She was amazed at the energy of the congregation and especially Revs Jane and Sig Paulson. That church sanctuary was known as the Golden Pyramid. She started attending the 11AM Unity service after singing in the choir at a Baptist early service. Eventually Unity became her main focus and in 1980 she took her first Spiritual Enrichment Education class and at the leader’s suggestion, took it for credit. Thus began her pathway of classes in Houston and at Unity Village which led to graduation and becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher in 1990. Living in many locations since that time, she has taught classes and organized and led a number of study groups. She is now retired from being an active LUT and enjoys the opportunities to serve within Unity communities here on Oahu.
